From Chișinău, head east on the E581 highway towards Criuleni. Follow signs to Criuleni, approximately 30 km away. Once in Criuleni, take the road towards the Nistru River, following signs for the Suta de Movile area. The landmark is located at approximately 47.7751° N latitude and 27.2802° E longitude. Be aware that some roads may not be well marked. Fuel costs should be considered. There are no tolls on this route.
Public Transport
From Chisinau, take a bus to Rîșcani. From Rîșcani, local transport options to the villages near Suta de Movile (such as Braniște or Avrămeni) may be limited. Check local bus schedules for availability. From the villages, walking to the mounds is possible, but distances may vary. A taxi from Rîșcani to the site may cost approximately 100-200 MDL.
