Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Orhei, head southeast towards Strada 31 August 1989. Walk straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Orhei Vechi Monastery Rd. Turn left onto Orhei Vechi Monastery Rd and continue walking for approximately 2 kilometers. You will pass by some local shops and cafes. After about 20 minutes of walking, you will arrive at the Traditional Peasant House, which will be on your left. Look for the sign indicating the house.

  • Bus

    From the main bus station in Orhei, take the bus heading towards Butuceni. The bus ride takes about 15 to 20 minutes. Get off at the Butuceni stop. From the bus stop, walk along Orhei Vechi Monastery Rd in the direction of the monastery for about 500 meters. The Traditional Peasant House will be on your right side. Make sure to check the bus schedule as it may vary.

  • Bicycle

    If you have access to a bicycle, start from the center of Orhei and head southeast towards Strada 31 August 1989. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer, then take a left onto Orhei Vechi Monastery Rd. Cycle for about 2 kilometers, enjoying the scenic views along the way. After about 10 minutes of cycling, you will reach the Traditional Peasant House on your left. There is usually space to park your bicycle nearby.
