Public Transport
From Chișinău, take a marshrutka (minibus) from the Central Bus Station to Trebujeni or Butuceni. Marshrutkas leave approximately every 30 minutes. A ticket to Trebujeni or Butuceni costs around 26 MDL. From Trebujeni, it's a 30-minute walk to Old Orhei, while from Butuceni, it's only a 10-minute walk. Some marshrutkas stop at both villages, so check with the driver.
Taxi
A taxi from Chișinău to Old Orhei takes approximately 55 minutes and costs between $15 and $18. You can also take a taxi to Orhei, then take a minibus to Trebujeni for approximately 10 MDL. Confirm the fare before starting your journey.
Walking
If you are already in the Orheiul Vechi Cultural-Natural Reserve, follow the marked walking trails towards the cliffs. The walk is scenic but can be steep in places, taking about 1 hour to reach Old Orhei if you take your time to enjoy the surroundings. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
