If you are in the center of Tiraspol, head south towards the main street, Strada 25 Octombrie. Walk along this street until you reach the intersection with Strada Vasile Alecsandri. Turn left onto Strada Vasile Alecsandri and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Strada Mircea Cel Bătrân. Turn right onto Strada Mircea Cel Bătrân and walk straight until you reach the 'Bender' bus station. From the bus station, take a minibus (marshrutka) towards Bender. Make sure to look for the sign that says 'Bender' on the front of the marshrutka. The ride will take around 15-20 minutes. After arriving in Bender, ask locals for directions to the Memorial of Commemoration and Sorrow, which is located in the city center. It is approximately a 10-minute walk from the bus stop, you will see signs leading you to the memorial.
