The fountain operates daily, with shows at noon (12:00-13:00) and in the evening (18:00-22:00). In 1992, the monument of Lenin was removed from the square, marking a shift in the city's identity. The square was officially renamed Piața Independenței in 2001, commemorating the 10th anniversary of Moldova's independence.Today, Piața Independenței is more than just a square; it's a place to relax, enjoy local events, and connect with the community.
