Getting There

  • Car

    From Cap d'Ail Beach, head northwest on Avenue de la Liberté towards Avenue du 11 Novembre. Continue on this road, which becomes the D6098. Follow signs for Nice. Once you approach Nice, merge onto Avenue de la Californie and continue to the Promenade des Anglais. After approximately 5 kilometers, turn right onto Avenue des Phocéens, then take the first left onto Avenue de Cimiez. The museum will be on your right at 160 Av. des Arènes de Cimiez. Parking may be available nearby, but be aware of potential fees.

    From Cap d'Ail Beach, walk to the nearest bus stop (Cap d'Ail - Mairie). Take bus line 100 towards Nice. After about 20 minutes, get off at the stop 'Nice - Promenade des Anglais / Mer.' Transfer to tram line 1 at 'Jean Médecin' tram station towards 'Hôpital Pasteur.' Get off at 'Cimiez' station. From there, it’s about a 15-minute walk to Musée d'Archéologie de Nice. Note that a ticket for the bus costs approximately €1.50.
