Getting There

  • Walking

    Start at the La Condamine Market, located on Place d'Armes. From the market, head southeast on Avenue de la République toward Rue des Remparts. Continue straight until you reach the end of the avenue, then turn left onto Rue des Remparts. Walk along Rue des Remparts until you reach the intersection with Avenue de la Costa. Turn right onto Avenue de la Costa, and continue walking until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Avenue de la Madone. Follow this road until it intersects with Avenue des Arènes de Cimiez. The Musée Matisse will be on your left at 164 Avenue des Arènes de Cimiez.

    From La Condamine, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located on Avenue de la République. Take bus number 100 towards Nice. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop 'Cimiez - Musée Matisse'. Once you get off, walk a short distance to the museum entrance. The Musée Matisse will be located at 164 Avenue des Arènes de Cimiez.

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many bike-sharing stations in La Condamine. Start from the station and head towards Avenue de la République.
