Getting There

Walking
From the central square in Monaco-Ville, head towards the main street, Avenue de la République. Walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the junction with Avenue de la Costa. Continue straight onto Avenue de la Costa and follow it as it curves slightly to the right. You will come to the entrance of the Monaco-Ville district, where you can see the old town's charming architecture. Keep walking straight, and follow the signs directing you to Nice. After about 20 minutes, you will reach the border of Monaco and France. Once you cross into France, continue on the same road, which eventually leads you to Rue de la Préfecture. From there, turn left onto Rue de la Préfecture and walk straight until you reach the intersection with Rue Pairolière. The Nice Cathedral is located at 3 Pl. Rossetti, just a few steps away.

From Monaco-Ville, walk to the nearest bus stop located at the bottom of the hill on Avenue de la République. Board bus number 100 towards Nice. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Cathedrale - Vieille Ville' stop. Once you exit the bus, walk straight ahead and turn right onto Rue de la Préfecture. Continue walking until you reach 3 Pl.
