From Buir Lake, head west on the main road (A-11) towards Ulaanbaatar. Continue on this road for approximately 270 kilometers until you reach the junction for Zavkhan Province. Take the exit towards Zavkhan and follow the road signs towards Bayan Lake. After about 50 kilometers, you will arrive at the scenic area around Bayan Lake. Keep an eye out for local signs indicating 'Bayan Lake' as you near your destination.

Upon reaching Zavkhan, ask locals for directions to Bayan Lake.
