Continue on this road for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach a fork. Take the left fork towards Buir Lake. After about 15 kilometers, you'll see signs for Buir Lake. The last stretch is a dirt road; drive carefully for about 5 kilometers until you reach the lake's parking area.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Buir Lake via public transportation, first take a minibus (marshrutka) from Ikh Nuur Basin to Khentii. The fare is approximately 5,000 MNT. Upon arrival in Khentii, look for another minibus heading towards Buir Lake, which may be available depending on the season. If there are no direct minibuses, you might need to hire a taxi for the last leg. Negotiate the fare beforehand, typically around 15,000 MNT to reach the lake.
