From the center of Ikh Nuur Basin, head southeast on the main road towards Arkhangai. Follow the signs for 40 kilometers until you reach the turnoff for Ögii Lake. Take a left onto a smaller dirt road and continue for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the lake. There are no tolls on this route, but ensure your vehicle is suitable for unpaved roads.

Take a minibus (known locally as a 'marshrutka') from Ikh Nuur to Arkhangai. The fare is usually around 5,000 MNT. Upon arrival in Arkhangai, ask for a local taxi to take you to Ögii Lake, which is about 10 kilometers away. Taxi fares may vary but expect to pay around 10,000-15,000 MNT for the short ride.
