If you are traveling by car from the center of Karakorum, head northwest on the main road (also known as the M-7) towards the Shankh Monastery. Continue on this road for approximately 25 kilometers (about 30 minutes). You will see signs for the monastery as you approach. Look for the turnoff to Shankh Rd, where you will need to turn left. Follow Shank Rd for about 5 kilometers until you reach the Shankh Monastery. There is parking available near the entrance.
