Car
If you have a car, start from the main entrance of Terelj National Park. Drive southeast on the main road for about 18 kilometers until you reach the intersection. Turn left onto the road leading towards Burgaasatayn Hiid. Continue for approximately 10 kilometers, and you will find signs directing you to Red Waterfall. The last stretch involves a gravel road; be cautious and drive slowly. Look for a parking area near the waterfall.
Public Transportation
To reach Red Waterfall via public transportation, start at the main tourist center in Terelj National Park. Look for a shared van or minibus heading towards Burgaasatayn Hiid; these typically depart in the morning and may require waiting for other passengers. The fare is usually around 5,000 MNT. Once you arrive at Burgaasatayn Hiid, you may need to walk about 3 kilometers to reach the waterfall. Follow the signs or ask locals for directions if unsure.
Hiking
For adventure seekers, if you are near the river or any hiking trails in Terelj, you can hike to Red Waterfall. Start from the nearest trailhead and follow the river upstream.
