The monastery is located approximately 3 km northwest of the town center. There is a dirt road leading to the monastery entrance, where you will find parking available.

    For those using public transportation, take a minibus (known as a 'furgon') from the bus station in Ulaanbaatar to Kharkhorin. The journey usually takes around 6-8 hours depending on road conditions and costs approximately 15,000 MNT (Mongolian Tugrik). Once you arrive in Kharkhorin, you can either walk to the monastery, which is about a 30-minute walk from the town center, or hire a local taxi for about 5,000 MNT to take you directly to Erdene Zuu Monastery.
