Getting There

• Car

  From the Kherlen River Basin, head to Ulaanbaatar on the main road (M-6). The drive will take approximately 1 hour if traffic is light. Once you reach Nalaikh, look for signs directing you to the Chinggis Khaan Statue Complex. The complex is located about 54 km from the center of Ulaanbaatar, along the Ulaanbaatar-Nalaikh road. There are ample parking spaces available at the complex.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Chinggis Khaan Statue Complex via public transportation, take a minibus (known as a 'davaaj') from Kherlen River Basin to Ulaanbaatar. The fare is typically around 3,000 MNT. Once in Ulaanbaatar, transfer to a bus heading towards Nalaikh. Look for bus number 51 or 52, which will take you directly to the statue complex. The bus fare is approximately 1,000 MNT. After arriving at Nalaikh, you may have to walk about 2 km to reach the statue complex, or you can flag down a taxi for around 5,000 MNT.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, consider hiring a taxi from Kherlen River Basin to the Chinggis Khaan Statue Complex. The cost for the taxi ride can range between 40,000 to 60,000 MNT, depending on your negotiation skills and the driver. Make sure to agree on a price before starting your journey. The taxi will take you directly to the entrance of the statue complex, which is the most convenient option.
