Getting There

  If you have access to a car, start your journey from the main entrance of Terelj National Park. Drive along the main road heading northeast towards Ulaanbaatar for about 10 kilometers. You will then see signs for Horse Trek Mongolia. The location is approximately 7 kilometers from the park entrance. Look for VH7P+C22 on your GPS, which will guide you to the exact spot.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Horse Trek Mongolia using public transportation, first take a local bus or shared taxi from the Terelj National Park entrance to Ulaanbaatar. Buses leave frequently, and the fare is around 1,000 MNT (Mongolian Tugrik). Once in Ulaanbaatar, take a taxi from the city center to VH7P+C22. Taxis are available at various points in the city, and the fare should be approximately 10,000-15,000 MNT depending on traffic. Make sure to show the taxi driver the address: VH7P+C22, Ulaanbaatar, Töv.

• Horseback

  For a truly immersive experience, consider horseback riding from Terelj National Park to Horse Trek Mongolia. You can hire a local guide, who can take you on an organized trek. The horseback ride will take approximately 2-3 hours, and prices may vary based on the duration and services offered. Ensure you negotiate the price beforehand, which can range from 20,000 to 50,000 MNT.
