Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, navigate your way to Terelj National Park via the main road from Ulaanbaatar. Once in the park, follow the signs towards 'Gorkhi-Terelj National Park'. The Terelj Star Resort is located approximately 10 kilometers from the main entrance of the park. Continue along the main road until you see a sign for the resort on your right. Turn onto the access road and follow it directly to the resort.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Terelj Star Resort using public transportation, take a minibus (known as a 'furgon') from Ulaanbaatar to Terelj National Park. These minibuses depart from the 'Dembs' bus station and cost around 5,000 MNT (Mongolian Tugrik). Once you arrive at the park's entrance, you can either walk or hire a local taxi to take you the last 10 kilometers to the resort. The cost for a taxi should be around 20,000 to 30,000 MNT.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct option, you can hire a taxi from Ulaanbaatar to Terelj Star Resort. The trip will take about 1 to 1.5 hours, and the fare will typically range from 50,000 to 70,000 MNT, depending on the negotiation with the driver. Make sure to agree on the price before starting your journey.

  Once in Terelj National Park, local drivers often offer rides to various attractions, including Terelj Star Resort. Look for shared rides or negotiate with drivers who are familiar with the park. Prices may vary based on distance and negotiation, generally ranging from 5,000 to 10,000 MNT for short trips.
