From Terelj National Park, head south on the main road towards Ulaanbaatar. After about 50 km, take the road to the west towards Kharkhorin (also known as Karakorum). Continue driving for approximately 300 km until you reach Kharkhorin. From Kharkhorin, follow the signs towards Bayan-Ölgii. This leg of the journey will take around 6-7 hours depending on road conditions. Once you reach Bayan-Ölgii, follow the GPS coordinates (48.4715711, 88.7177824) to arrive at Altai Tavan Bogd National Park.

From Terelj National Park, first, take a taxi or a local bus to Ulaanbaatar. The journey to Ulaanbaatar takes about 1-2 hours and costs around 10,000-15,000 MNT.
