Getting There

Car
From the main entrance of Terelj National Park, follow the paved road heading west. Continue for about 5 kilometers until you reach a T-junction. Turn right at the junction and proceed straight for another 10 kilometers on the same road. You will see signs pointing towards Dashchoilin Monastery. The entrance to the monastery will be on your left side. Parking is available near the entrance.

Public Transportation
Start at the Terelj National Park information center and take a shared taxi or minibus to Ulaanbaatar. The fare is approximately 10,000 MNT per person. Once in Ulaanbaatar, take a taxi to N.Sodnom St, SBD - 8 khoroo, where Dashchoilin Monastery is located. The taxi fare should be around 3,000-5,000 MNT. The monastery is within walking distance from the taxi drop-off point.

For adventurous travelers, you can hike from the Terelj National Park information center. Head southwest and follow the trail towards the mountains. This hike will take about 2-3 hours depending on your pace, and you will need to navigate through some rugged terrain. Ensure you have a map or GPS device, as the trails can be less marked.
