Ulaanbaatar Walking Tour & Cooking Class in a Mongolian Home

Great tour!

I went on a day tour with a Ider yesterday and had a wonderful experience. He was very knowledgeable and spoke perfect English. We walked through the city and explored the local markets before visiting his home, where we played traditional games and cooked together. It felt personal, authentic and relaxed. Overall, a lovely day and definitely excellent value for both the money and time spent. Highly recommended!

Our horse riding and hiking trip to Mongolia was nothing short of spectacular. From the very beginning, the team proved to be incredibly proficient and professional, managing every detail of the expedition seamlessly. The horses were beyond amazing and thankfully surefooted!!! The staff were truly amazing—warm, welcoming, and deeply knowledgeable not to mention experienced!!! What really stood out was the special care they took to ensure every single client was well attended to, safe, and comfortable throughout the entire journey. As for Mongolia itself, the outstanding scenery left us completely speechless. Riding and hiking through such vast rugged, breathtaking landscapes was an unforgettable experience. If you are looking for a perfectly run adventure with a team that genuinely cares, I cannot recommend this trip enough! Special mention to Eddie and Yearnar (sp?) our intrepid guides!!!

11 Day World Heritage Orkhon Valley National Park Cycling Tour

Nadaam festival and beautiful bike ride through the Mongolian countryside.

This was my first mountain biking tour and Dashka was very responsive and helpful over the months leading up to the trip so I felt very prepared when I arrived. On the trip we had 5 fantastic support staff (driver, mechanic and bike guide, translator/guide, cook and driver for the mobile kitchen) to help things run safely and smoothly. Our cook happened to also be a master chef who had cooked for foreign dignitaries!! Every single meal was fantastic and they even made us Mongolian BBQ with mutton and wrapped steamed mutton buns on a night we were camping! My mom came on this trip and was nervous about camping for 6 nights but we had no issues with waking up cold or wet despite several passing thunderstorms. They also set up a portable shower for us several nights on the camping days. The beauty of picking a trip where we are camping is getting to witness the serenity of the sunsets, sunrises and the passing horses, cows, goats and migratory birds as they move through this stunning landscape. I wouldn't have been able to experience any of that if we only stayed in a tourist ger camps. I would 10/10 recommended and I'll be planning a future trip with them to another region of Mongolia!
