Great hike in nature

It was a great hike in a beautiful surrounding. After spending some time in Ulaanbataar city center, it was a good getaway into nature, and from the top of mountain we had good views of the city from afar. MJ was a very friendly and knowledgeable guide and gave us a lot of information about Mongolian history, culture and society. She also brought good food for lunch. Our driver Ari was also very friendly and we felt safe during the 1-hour-drive to the starting point of the hike and on the way back. Even though the hike is a bit more expensive than other daytrips, we would highly recommend it as you get a truly personal and individual experience, as we were the only guests and could hike at our preferred speed and stop whenever we liked for pictures etc. As we were only 3 girls on the hike including MJ as guide, it felt more like a hike with a group of friends. 😊

I booked the State Naadam Festival & Gobi 10-day tour with Meet Mongolia and it exceeded expectations. Our guide, Chuluuka, was excellent. She was knowledgeable, attentive, and passionate about sharing Mongolian culture, and our drivers got us safely across some rough terrain in the Gobi. The highlight was the Naadam Festival. The opening ceremony at the stadium, the horse races, and the wrestling matches were incredible to witness. Equally memorable was the time spent visiting nomadic families along the way. If I'd change anything, I'd have loved the chance to also see a local/rural Naadam alongside the State festival. Highly recommend Meet Mongolia.

Our horse riding and hiking trip to Mongolia was nothing short of spectacular. From the very beginning, the team proved to be incredibly proficient and professional, managing every detail of the expedition seamlessly. The horses were beyond amazing and thankfully surefooted!!! The staff were truly amazing—warm, welcoming, and deeply knowledgeable not to mention experienced!!! What really stood out was the special care they took to ensure every single client was well attended to, safe, and comfortable throughout the entire journey. As for Mongolia itself, the outstanding scenery left us completely speechless. Riding and hiking through such vast rugged, breathtaking landscapes was an unforgettable experience. If you are looking for a perfectly run adventure with a team that genuinely cares, I cannot recommend this trip enough! Special mention to Eddie and Yearnar (sp?) our intrepid guides!!!
