Public Transit (Bus)
From Sukhbaatar Square in the center of Ulaanbaatar, walk to the nearest bus stop. Look for Bus No. 11 or Bus No. 44, which both head toward Nalaikh. After boarding the bus, stay on for approximately 30-40 minutes. The bus will take you through the outskirts of the city and toward Nalaikh. Get off at the Nalaikh bus terminal. From the terminal, you can take a taxi or a minibus (called 'marshrutka') to the Chinggis Khaan Statue Complex, which is about 15-20 minutes away. Make sure to tell the driver your destination.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from your location in Ulaanbaatar. Simply use a local taxi service or a ride-hailing app. Provide the driver with the destination: 'Chinggis Khaan Statue Complex, Nalaikh'. The ride will take about 30-40 minutes depending on traffic conditions. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting your journey.
Bicycle
For the adventurous, renting a bicycle is an option. Start from Sukhbaatar Square and head southeast toward the Zaisan Memorial. From there, continue along the main road that leads to Nalaikh. The ride will take around 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your pace. Keep an eye on traffic and make sure to follow the road signs. Once you reach Nalaikh, you can ask locals for directions to the Chinggis Khaan Statue Complex, which is located just outside the town.
Walking
Walking to the Chinggis Khaan Statue Complex is not practical due to the distance (approximately 30 km from central Ulaanbaatar). However, if you still wish to experience the journey on foot, you can walk towards the Zaisan Memorial first, and from there, follow the main road to Nalaikh. It is a long trek, so ensure you are well-prepared with water and snacks.
