From Kharkhorin, follow the signs leading to Orkhon Waterfall, which is about 20 kilometers northeast. The last few kilometers will involve unpaved roads, so a 4x4 vehicle is recommended. Look for the signs indicating 'Orkhon Waterfall' or 'Orkhon Valley', as they will guide you to the parking area near the waterfall.

Public Transportation

To reach Orkhon Waterfall via public transport, take a bus or minivan from Ulaanbaatar to Kharkhorin. This journey takes around 7-8 hours and costs approximately 15,000 to 20,000 MNT. Once in Kharkhorin, you can either take a local taxi or find a shared vehicle heading to Orkhon Waterfall. The taxi ride will cost around 20,000 to 30,000 MNT and will take about 30-40 minutes. Ensure you communicate clearly with the driver that your destination is Orkhon Waterfall.
