    Begin your journey at the Billings Public Library located at 510 N Broadway Ave, Billings, MT 59101. Exit the library and walk south on N Broadway Ave for about 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with W 6th Ave. Turn left onto W 6th Ave and continue for another 0.3 miles. You will then turn right onto S 27th St and walk for approximately 0.2 miles. After crossing the bridge over the Yellowstone River, keep straight as the street becomes W 1st Ave N. Continue walking for a total distance of about 1 mile until you reach the Historical Marker, located at RG39+3P, Billings, MT 59105. The marker will be on your left, near the intersection with N 28th St.

    Public Transit

    Start at the Billings Depot, located at 2310 Montana Ave, Billings, MT 59101. Board the MET Transit bus number 5 heading towards the Heights. Stay on the bus for about 15-20 minutes, and get off at the stop near N 27th St and 1st Ave N. From there, walk south on N 27th St for about 0.5 miles until you reach the Historical Marker at RG39+3P, Billings, MT 59105, which will be on your right side.
