    From downtown Billings, head to the nearest bus stop on 1st Ave N and 27th St. Take the MET Transit bus route 2, which heads towards the Heights. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to the Billings Logan International Airport. From there, walk west along Terminal Circle for about 10 minutes until you reach the Yellowstone County Museum located at 1950 Terminal Cir.

    Biking

    If you prefer biking, start from the Billings Public Library at 510 N Broadway. Head east on N Broadway towards 1st Ave N. Turn left onto 1st Ave N and continue on this road until you reach the intersection with Montana Ave. Turn right onto Montana Ave and follow it as it curves into Terminal Cir. The museum will be on your right at 1950 Terminal Cir after about 3 miles of biking.

    Walking

    If you are within walking distance, a good starting point is the Billings Depot located at 2310 Montana Ave. From the depot, head south on 23rd St towards Montana Ave. Turn left onto Montana Ave and follow it for about 1.5 miles. When you reach the intersection with Terminal Cir, turn right. The Yellowstone County Museum will be located on your left at 1950 Terminal Cir.
