Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in downtown Billings, start at the intersection of 27th Street and 1st Avenue North. Head east on 1st Avenue North until you reach N 27th Street. Turn left onto N 27th Street and walk north. Continue on N 27th Street until you reach the intersection with State Secondary Hwy 416. Turn right onto State Secondary Hwy 416. Riverfront Park will be on your left. The total walk is approximately 1.5 miles and should take around 30 minutes.

    From downtown Billings, head to the nearest bus stop that services the MET Transit routes. Take the MET bus route that heads towards the Heights area. Make sure to check the MET Transit schedule for the latest route information. You will need to get off at the stop closest to the intersection of State Secondary Hwy 416 and N 27th Street. From there, walk a short distance to Riverfront Park, which will be on your left. The bus ride typically takes about 20-25 minutes.
