Walking
Start at the Great Falls Public Library located at 301 2nd Ave N, Great Falls, MT 59401. Head east on 2nd Ave N toward 3rd St N. Continue straight onto 1st Ave N and then take a left onto 6th St N. Walk until you reach the intersection with 2nd Ave S. Here, you will take a right turn on 2nd Ave S, heading south. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with 10th St S. Turn left onto 10th St S, and after a couple of blocks, turn right onto 4th Ave S. Follow this road until you reach the intersection with 15th St S, and turn left. Keep walking until you reach the end of the street, where you’ll see the entrance to the River's Edge Trail. Follow the trail heading east, which will lead you towards the area where Vinegar Jones Cabin is located. Be sure to enjoy the scenic views along the trail.

Begin at the Great Falls Civic Center located at 2 Park Dr S, Great Falls, MT 59401. From there, head south on Park Dr S, then take a right onto 4th Ave S. Continue on 4th Ave S until you reach the intersection with 15th St S, where you will turn left. After a few blocks, you will come to the entrance of the River's Edge Trail. Enter the trail and pedal eastward. The trail will take you past various scenic spots along the river. Continue on this trail until you reach the Vinegar Jones Cabin area. Make sure to check the bike path signage for the most direct route.
