From the downtown area of Helena, walk to the nearest bus stop on Main St. Board the 'Helena City Bus' heading towards the East Helena route. Stay on the bus for approximately 15 minutes until you reach the stop at the intersection of Mt Majo St and N Montana Ave. Once you disembark, head east on Mt Majo St for about 0.2 miles. The Montana Military Museum will be on your left at 1956 Mt Majo St.

Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in downtown Helena. Start at the intersection of Main St and N Last Chance Gulch. Head south on N Last Chance Gulch, which will turn into N Montana Ave. Continue on N Montana Ave for approximately 1 mile. Turn left onto Mt Majo St and ride for another 0.5 miles. The museum will be on your right at 1956 Mt Majo St.

Walking
If you are close to the city center, you can walk to the Montana Military Museum. Start at the corner of Broadway St and N Last Chance Gulch, and head north on N Last Chance Gulch. After about 0.6 miles, take a left onto N Montana Ave. Walk for another 0.7 miles, then turn left onto Mt Majo St. The museum is located at 1956 Mt Majo St, just a short walk down the street on your left.
