    Start at the Libby Visitor Center located at 1001 E. Spruce St. Head east on Spruce St toward 12th St. Continue straight onto 12th St. After about 0.3 miles, turn left onto US-2 W. Walk for approximately 1.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Libby Creek Rd. Turn right onto Libby Creek Rd and follow it for about 3 miles. The Libby Creek National Gold Panning Area will be on your left. Look for signage indicating the entrance to the panning area.

    Begin your journey at the Libby Community Library located at 120 6th St. Head south on 6th St and take a left onto California Ave. Follow California Ave to US-2 W. Turn left onto US-2 W and bike for approximately 1.6 miles. Take a right onto Libby Creek Rd and continue biking for about 3 miles. The gold panning area will be on your left; there are signs along the way to help you find it.
