    Start at the Missoula Downtown Transfer Center, located at 1200 Sherwood St. Catch the Mountain Line bus Route 12 (South Hills) which runs regularly. Ride the bus until you reach the stop at the intersection of South 39th St and Pattee Canyon Dr. This is the nearest stop to Pattee Canyon Recreation Area.

    Begin at the Missoula Downtown area and head south on Higgins Ave. Continue onto South 39th St. Take a left onto Pattee Canyon Dr, which will lead you directly to the entrance of Pattee Canyon Recreation Area. The ride is approximately 3.5 miles and is mostly on bike-friendly roads.
