Ride the bus until you reach the stop at the intersection of South 39th St and Pattee Canyon Dr. This is the nearest stop to Pattee Canyon Recreation Area.

Begin at the Missoula Downtown area and head south on Higgins Ave. Continue onto South 39th St. Take a left onto Pattee Canyon Dr, which will lead you directly to the entrance of Pattee Canyon Recreation Area. The ride is approximately 3.5 miles and is mostly on bike-friendly roads.

If you are starting from downtown Missoula, walk south on Higgins Ave until you reach South 39th St. Turn left and continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Pattee Canyon Dr. Turn right onto Pattee Canyon Dr and follow it to the entrance of Pattee Canyon Recreation Area.
