If you are driving, access Travelers' Rest State Park by taking US-12. From Missoula, head south on I-90 and take exit 101 for US-93 S toward Lolo. Merge onto US-12 E after approximately 10 miles. Continue on US-12 for about 12 miles until you reach the park located at 6717 US-12, Lolo, MT 59847. There is no entrance fee for the park.

Public Transportation
To reach Travelers' Rest State Park using public transportation, you will first need to take a bus from Missoula. The Mountain Line bus service runs routes from downtown Missoula to Lolo. You can board the bus at the Missoula Transfer Center and ride it to the Lolo Park and Ride stop. From there, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 miles along US-12 to reach the park entrance. Be sure to check the Mountain Line schedule ahead of time for bus times and route availability.

Bicycle
For those who enjoy cycling, Travelers' Rest State Park can also be accessed by bike. If you are in Missoula, follow the Bitterroot Trail south towards Lolo. This scenic route will take you about 12 miles along the river and through beautiful landscapes. Once you reach Lolo, you can ride along US-12 to the park. Always wear a helmet and be aware of traffic when riding on the road.

If you are staying nearby in Lolo, you can walk to Travelers' Rest State Park. The park is located about 1.5 miles from the center of Lolo. Head east on US-12, and you will see the entrance to the park on your left. Ensure you have comfortable walking shoes and be cautious of traffic along the road.
