From any location in The Little Belt Mountains, navigate to US-287 S. Once you reach US-287 S, continue driving south until you reach the junction with MT-43. Merge onto MT-43 W towards Wisdom. Continue on MT-43 for approximately 25 miles. The Big Hole National Battlefield will be on your right at 16425 MT-43, Wisdom, MT 59761. There is no entrance fee for the battlefield, but ensure your vehicle has enough fuel, as gas stations may be sparse along the route.
