If you are traveling by car within Yellowstone Valley, start your journey by heading towards the Yellowstone National Park entrance. From the town of Gardiner, take North Entrance Road into the park. Continue until you reach the Grand Loop Road. From there, head south on the Grand Loop Road. Follow the signs for Canyon Village. After approximately 20 miles, you will reach the Calcite Springs Overlook, located on the left side of the road, just past the Tower Fall area. There is a designated parking area where you can stop and enjoy the view.

For those using public transportation, you can take a shuttle or bus service that operates within Yellowstone National Park. Depending on your starting location, you may need to take a shuttle from Gardiner or Mammoth Hot Springs. Once you arrive at Canyon Village, you may need to walk a short distance to reach the overlook.
