    Getting There

    Walking

    If you are starting from the Budva Marina, head east along the waterfront promenade. Enjoy the beautiful views of the sea as you walk. Continue walking until you reach the Old Town (Stari Grad) area. Once you arrive at the Old Town, pass through the main gate (the Sea Gate) into the historic part of Budva. After entering, follow the main street (Njegoševa) as it winds through the narrow alleys of the Old Town. Keep an eye out for the Citadel, which is situated towards the northern edge of the Old Town. Look for signs directing you to the Citadel. The entrance to Budva Citadel is marked and will be on your right as you approach the northern walls.

    Walking

    If you are at the Budva Bus Station, exit the station and turn left onto the main road (Jadranski put). Walk straight for about 10-15 minutes until you reach the intersection at the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Podmaine Road. Continue straight until you reach the coast, where you will see signs for the Old Town. Follow the path toward the Old Town, and once you enter through the Sea Gate, proceed straight to the main street (Njegoševa). Follow this street to the right, and you will find the Citadel at the northern end of the Old Town.

    If you are near the Slovenska Beach area, start by walking toward the Old Town. Head west along the beach promenade until you reach the entrance to the Old Town (Sea Gate). Enter the Old Town and navigate through the narrow streets, taking the path that leads north. As you walk, keep an eye out for the Citadel, which is visible from various points within the Old Town. It will be located towards the northern part, near the city walls. Look for signs directing you to the Citadel entrance, which is easily accessible from the main walkways.
