From Durmitor National Park, head southeast on the main road (P5) towards the town of Nikšić. After approximately 45 km, you will reach a junction where you need to turn right onto the P16 road towards Virpazar. Continue on P16 for about 30 km until you reach the village of Virpazar, where the Lake Skadar National Park Visitors Centre is located at the coordinates 63WR+99P.

To use public transport from Durmitor National Park, first take a bus from Žabljak to Nikšić. This bus journey takes around 2 hours. From Nikšić, transfer to a bus heading to Virpazar, which takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive in Virpazar, the Lake Skadar National Park Visitors Centre is a short walk from the bus station, located at the address 63WR+99P.
