Car

If you are traveling by car, start from the town of Žabljak in Durmitor National Park. Head south on the E65 road towards Nikšić. Continue for about 45 kilometers until you reach the junction for Cetinje. Take the exit towards Cetinje and follow the signs for Lovćen National Park. The park entrance is located at coordinates 42.397607, 18.8432656. Ensure your vehicle is in good condition as some roads may be winding and steep.
Public Transportation

To reach Lovćen National Park via public transportation, first take a bus from Žabljak to Cetinje. The bus ride takes approximately 2 hours. Upon arrival in Cetinje, you can either take a taxi to the park entrance or continue your journey by bus, if available, to the nearest stop. Note that taxi fares to the park entrance may vary, so it’s recommended to agree on a price before starting your journey.

If you prefer a more direct route after reaching Cetinje, you can hire a taxi to take you to Lovćen National Park. The taxi ride from Cetinje to the park entrance will take about 30 minutes and costs approximately 15-20 EUR. Make sure to confirm the fare with the driver beforehand.
Walking

For those feeling adventurous and if you are already in the vicinity of Lovćen, you can hike to the park entrance from Cetinje. The hike is scenic but can be challenging. It is advisable to wear good hiking shoes and carry water. The walking distance is about 10 kilometers and should take around 2-3 hours depending on your pace.
