Walking
From the center of Herceg Novi, head towards the main promenade along the coast. You will walk along the seaside until you reach the entrance of the city of Igalo. Continue along the coast, passing by the beach areas and the local cafes. After about 30 minutes of walking, you will reach the ferry terminal. Here, you can take a ferry to Tivat. Once you arrive in Tivat, follow the signs to the bus station and take a bus towards Budva. The bus ride takes roughly 30 minutes. Get off at Budva bus station, and from there, it's a short 10-minute walk to the Church of Sveti Ivan. Head down the main street towards the old town, and you will see the church as you approach the historic area.

From Herceg Novi, walk to the bus station located near the center. Take a bus headed to Budva, which runs frequently. The journey will take approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive at the Budva bus station, exit and turn right onto the main street. Walk straight for about 10 minutes towards the old town (Stari Grad). The Church of Sveti Ivan is located within the old town, and you will see it as you enter. The church is well-signposted, making it easy to find.
