Start from the main square in Herceg Novi, known as 'Trg Nikole Đurkovića'. From the square, head north towards the 'Boka' Hotel. You will see a well-marked path leading up to the fortress. Follow the path that winds its way up the hill, which will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Keep an eye out for signs pointing towards 'Kanli kula' as you ascend. The path is paved and has handrails, but it can be steep in some sections. Enjoy the beautiful views of the bay as you go. Once you reach the top, you will arrive directly at Kanli kula, which is situated at 'bb Prve Bokeške brigade'.
