From Nikšić, head to the main bus station located at Trg Slobode. Look for the buses heading towards Plužine, which usually run several times a day. The bus ride takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Upon arrival at Plužine, you will need to disembark at the last stop. Make sure to ask the bus driver or check with locals if you're unsure about your stop.

Once you arrive in Plužine, you will need to walk to reach Piva Nature Preserve. Exit the bus station and head northwest on the main road (E762) towards the Piva River. Walk for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the turnoff for the Piva Nature Preserve. Follow the signs or ask locals for directions if needed. The preserve is located near the dam and should be visible as you approach.
