From Nikšić, head to the main bus station (Autobuska stanica Nikšić). You can find buses heading to Plužine. Check the schedule for the next available bus, as they may not run frequently. The journey takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive in Plužine, you will need to walk about 4 km to reach Lake Piva. Follow the signs toward the lake, and you can ask locals for directions if needed.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle in Nikšić. Start from the city center and head towards the main road leading to Plužine. It is approximately a 35 km ride, which can take around 2-3 hours depending on your pace. Follow the route signs and road indications towards Plužine. Once you reach Plužine, continue towards the lake area, which is well-marked.
