From the central area of Perast, head east along the waterfront promenade (Obala). As you walk, enjoy the beautiful views of the Bay of Kotor. Continue walking until you reach the end of the promenade. Once you reach the end, you will see a small road that leads away from the waterfront. Follow this road upward towards the main road (Jadranska magistrala). After approximately 10-15 minutes of walking, you will reach the Jadranska magistrala.

Once you reach the Jadranska magistrala, turn left and walk along the road. Be cautious as this is a main road and can be busy with traffic. Continue walking for about 1 kilometer. You will see signs indicating the direction to Lepetani. Keep walking in that direction.

After about 15-20 minutes of walking along the Jadranska magistrala, you will see a sign for Fort Verige. The fort is located just off the main road. Look for a path leading towards the fort, which should be visible from the road. Follow that path to reach Fort Verige.
