Walking
From the center of Perast, head towards the waterfront promenade, which is easily recognizable. Walk north along the promenade, enjoying the view of the bay. Continue walking for about 15-20 minutes until you reach the small town of Risan. Keep an eye out for signs that direct you towards Risan. As you approach Risan, you will see the Illyrian Fort Rizon situated on a hill. Follow the paths leading uphill from the town center towards the fort.

Boat
If you're interested in a scenic route, consider taking a local boat from Perast to Risan. You can find boats at the main dock in Perast. The boat ride will take around 10 minutes. Once you arrive at the Risan dock, exit and follow the paths leading uphill from the dock area. The fort will be visible from the dock, and the walk to the fort will take approximately 10-15 minutes.
