    Start your journey in Šavnik and head southwest on the main road towards Kotor. Follow the E65 road, which is well-marked. After approximately 20 km, you will reach the town of Kotor. Once in Kotor, look for signs directing you to the Old Town. The entrance to the fortress is near the entrance to the Old Town. There is parking available near the Old Town, but keep in mind that parking may incur costs, typically around 1-2 Euros per hour.

    Public Transportation

    From Šavnik, take a bus to Kotor. Buses depart regularly from the main bus station in Šavnik. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Upon arriving in Kotor, walk towards the Old Town, which is a 10-minute walk from the bus station. Look for signs that guide you to the fortress. Note that there may be a small entry fee for the fortress, usually around 8 Euros.

    If you are already in Kotor and at the Old Town, the fortress is accessible by foot. From the Old Town square, follow the path that leads up the hill towards the fortress.
