Getting There

• Walking

  Start from the central square of Asilah, known as Place Moulay Hassan. From the square, head towards the coastal road (Avenue Mohammed VI), which runs along the beach. Walk north along the avenue until you reach the intersection with Avenue de la Liberté. At this intersection, turn left onto Avenue de la Liberté and continue until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Route de la Plage, heading towards the beach. Follow Route de la Plage for approximately 1 km, enjoying the coastal views. You will arrive at Route de la Plage Merkala, which is marked by its scenic beach and local attractions.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops near the central square of Asilah. Begin your journey from Place Moulay Hassan and proceed towards Avenue Mohammed VI. Cycle north along the avenue, then turn left onto Avenue de la Liberté at the intersection. Continue cycling straight to the roundabout and take the first exit onto Route de la Plage. Keep cycling along Route de la Plage for about 1 km until you reach Route de la Plage Merkala, where you can enjoy the beach atmosphere and local facilities.

• Public Transport

  To reach Route de la Plage Merkala via public transport, start at the main bus station in Asilah. Board a local bus heading towards Tangier; inform the driver that you want to get off at Route de la Plage. The journey will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you disembark, walk towards the beach to reach Route de la Plage Merkala, which is a short walk from the bus stop. Enjoy the beautiful coastal scenery as you make your way to your destination.
