Starting from Marrakech, drive towards the town of Asni via N9 road. The journey takes approximately 1 hour. Once in Asni, continue on the N9 for about 10 km, then take the road towards Ouirgane. Follow the signs to Barrage Ouirgane. You will reach the dam, which is located at coordinates 31.1832835, -8.086545. Parking is available near the site.

Public Transport
From Marrakech, take a bus or shared taxi heading towards Asni. The bus station is located at Place de la Gare Routière. The journey takes about 1 to 1.5 hours. Upon arrival in Asni, you can either walk or take a local taxi to Ouirgane, which is about 10 km away. Tell the taxi driver 'Barrage Ouirgane' to ensure you are dropped off at the correct location.

If you are already in Ouirgane, you can walk to the Barrage Ouirgane. From the center of Ouirgane, head northwest towards the dam. The walk is approximately 2 km and offers scenic views of the surrounding mountains. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry water, as the terrain can be uneven.
