Walking

From the center of Asilah, head towards the main road that leads to the train station (Gare de Asilah). Walk straight for about 15 minutes until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Avenue des FAR. Continue walking straight for approximately 30 minutes, following the signs toward Tangier. You will pass by local shops and cafes along the way. Keep walking until you reach the bus station (Gare Routière), where you can take a bus to Tangier.

Once you arrive at the bus station (Gare Routière) in Asilah, look for the buses headed to Tangier. The buses are frequent and typically run every 30 minutes. The journey takes about 45 minutes. Once you arrive in Tangier, ask the driver to drop you off at the main bus terminal (Gare de Tanger). From there, you can either take a taxi or walk to Merkala Beach.

Taxi

If you prefer a more direct option, you can take a taxi from Asilah to Merkala Beach in Tangier. Simply find a taxi at a designated taxi stand. Make sure to negotiate the fare before getting in, as taxis in Morocco do not always use meters. The drive will take approximately 40 minutes depending on traffic.
