Getting there

Car

If you're traveling by car, start from Chefchaouen, which is about 90 km away from Targha Beach. Take the N2 highway heading east towards Tetouan. After approximately 40 km, take the exit towards the N16 road. Continue on the N16 for about 30 km until you reach the town of Targha. From the center of Targha, follow the signs to the beach which is located on Unnamed Road. The drive should take around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic. Make sure to have some cash for potential tolls along the N2 highway.

Public Transportation

For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from Chefchaouen to Tetouan. The bus departs from the main bus station in Chefchaouen. Look for the 'CTM' or 'Supratours' companies, which are reliable options. The journey takes about 2 hours. Once you arrive in Tetouan, transfer to a local bus or taxi heading to Targha. The local buses are frequent but may take an additional hour to reach Targha. Make sure to confirm the bus schedules as they may vary. The total cost for the bus from Chefchaouen to Tetouan is around 30-50 MAD, and the local transport to Targha might cost around 20-30 MAD.
