Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from the city of Merzouga, take Route N-10 northwest towards Rissani. Continue on N-10 for about 50 km until you reach the town of Rissani. In Rissani, you will need to merge onto N-13 heading north. After approximately 130 km, you will arrive in Marrakech. Once in Marrakech, follow the signs to Av. Guemassa. The Morocco Desert Travels office is located at Av. Guemassa, Marrakech 40000.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  To reach Morocco Desert Travels from Merzouga, take a bus from the Merzouga bus station to Rissani. The cost is approximately 30 MAD and the journey takes about 1 hour. From Rissani, catch another bus heading towards Marrakech. The bus fare is around 70-100 MAD and the trip will take approximately 6-7 hours. Once you arrive in Marrakech, you can either take a taxi or walk to Av. Guemassa, where Morocco Desert Travels is located.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, consider hiring a taxi from your location in the Sahara directly to Morocco Desert Travels in Marrakech. This will be more expensive, typically costing between 1000 to 1500 MAD, depending on your starting point. Ensure to negotiate the fare before starting your journey. The drive will take approximately 6 hours.

• Shared Taxi

  You can also take a shared taxi, which is a popular method for traveling between towns. From Merzouga, head to the main taxi stand and look for a shared taxi heading to Marrakech. The cost will be around 100-150 MAD per person, and the trip duration is about 6 hours. Once you arrive in Marrakech, take a taxi or public transport to Av. Guemassa.
