Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Old Bagan Archaeological Zone entrance, head south on the main road (Nyaung U - Bagan Road) for about 1.2 km. As you walk, you will pass by several temples and pagodas on your left. Continue until you reach a large intersection at the corner of the Old Bagan market area. At this intersection, take a left onto a smaller road. Continue walking for about 500 meters until you see Ananda Oak Kyaung on your right. It is marked by a distinctive entrance and is easily recognizable.

  • Bicycle

    If you have rented a bicycle, start from the Old Bagan Archaeological Zone entrance and head south on the Nyaung U - Bagan Road. Cycle for about 1.2 km, enjoying the views of the temples along the way. When you reach the large intersection at the Old Bagan market area, turn left onto the smaller road. Continue cycling for another 500 meters, and you will find Ananda Oak Kyaung on your right side. Look for the temple entrance, which is quite noticeable.
