Walking
From your accommodation in Bagan, head towards the main road (Nyaung U Road). Walk south until you reach the junction with the road leading to Mount Popa. This distance is approximately 30 km, which is a long walk, so it's advisable to start early in the morning. Alternatively, you can take a bicycle from Bagan to near Mount Popa, which will make the journey faster.

Bicycle
Rent a bicycle in Bagan. Start at your accommodation and ride south towards the main road (Nyaung U Road). Continue until you reach the junction for Mount Popa. The ride is about 30 km and should take around 1.5 to 2 hours. Make sure to stay hydrated and bring some snacks for the journey.
